Question for those without a garage. How do you keep the animals out of your jeep in the summer time? I had my top off two days and I'm pretty sure a cat peed in my jeep.

dryer sheets can help keep out bugs, stuff some under the seats and in the corners.. and they smell nice.

Ammonia drizzled around the border of your vehicle might help, pee works the same but might offend your neighbors during application ;-)..

This thread should be interesting.

^NO!
Unless you want to call every *$#@ cat in the hood to piss in/on/around your Jeep, DO NOT do this: ammonia is a big part of cat piss. I've been owned by cats for years (thank God for the dawg), ask me how I know. :headbang:

Try spreading moth balls around the area you park the Jeep, and under it. It will work for a while, until they get used to them, and it will also discourage mice from nesting or chewing on the wiring.

Otherwise, I've got nothing for you. YMMV, and invariably will...

And I just read the rest of the thread: Sinster6 FTW!

I want to know how to keep my cats off my Jeep. Thing wasn't home the day I bought it for half an hour and the cats were walking on it. At least this one has a hard top so they can't use the soft top as a hammock like my old Jeep.

Get rid of your carpet and get waterproof seat covers

Whatever you end up doing, don't waste your money on a product called Keep Off!. It is a spray that I bought at the pet store for like $10 that is supposed to repel cats for 24hrs after application. I sprayed it all over, literally on my jeeps soft top. Within 10 min I saw my cat taking a nap on the top.

Try this - it works and will scare that cat away. It can be annoying too, so be prepared to turn it off after they set it off. It won't take log to train the neighborhood pests to stay away.

We didn't go through all the trouble they did, we just used it as it was and put it propped up on the dash facing the rear.
