How's this for a stitch job?

Last time I put the roof down my driver's side rear zipper almost cam all the way off.

This is a before pic take a few weeks ago.

There were only about 4 stitches holding the zipper on above the door.

I hope I used the correct threading. I've read you're to use "marine grade thread" but I just went to Michael's (the craft store) and bought some "nylon canvas yarn" which seem to work good so far.

I think I should have bought blue though.

It took me an hour and a half do do that. What a PITA!

$50!?!?!

No way I'd pay that much.

IIRC The yarn was $1.99 and the needle set was $1.49. (Just make sure the needle set has a "canvas" needle)

See, ya did learn, now quit your bitchen

Now I have a legit a mite bitch, I just got bent over at the dealer for 4 of the door panel retainer thingys, they slot into the door panel and then push into the steel part of the door. They were for the wifes 97ZJ, those peckers were $4.95 ea, I just did not know what they looked like and did not want to screw up the passenger side to remove one. Now I know and found a source where they are $4.95 for 10.....
