I love my customers!

A lot of you know I sell Jeeps on the Internet in Texas.

Yesterday, when my daughter and I got back from an afternoon of shopping in down town San Antonio, I did what I normally do...Check my email.

I was shocked when I got this one. I really do care about my customers and when they have a problem I want them to call me. Not too sure what I could have done other than to offer my support and advice for this problem. You can be sure that I did call on this one!

I thought I would share this photo with you guys too....

He bought this Rubicon from me last Memorial Day; this mishap took place on the Guadalupe River not too far from his cabin.

Here is the Sprint photo and attached email.

"Greg, this is Jason McXxxxxxxx. Im in
boerne. Jeep won’t start. Please call
512-xxx-xxxx"

You are going to cover that under warranty, right??? <laughing hysterically> You HAVE to tell us the rest of this story. What was he doing? It looks like that gets deeper before it gets shallower too... Gotta wonder about some people.

The story

He tells me he was crossing the river.

As he stared to climb out ion the other side the bank gave way under the shoes.

He baked up to take another run at it and the current lifted the jeep and it fell off that shelf and killed the engine as it went under. Then it would not start.

By the time I talked to him he had drained the oil and about a gallon of H2O and all the diffs. He said he dried everything out but it still would not start.

I will keep you posted as I learn more.

Update #1

"Greg,

I just spoke to my agent and he told me coverage is comprehensive. So,
I don't have to worry about my rate or cancellation. He said to get it
to a place that specializes in Jeeps and knows what to do about this
kind of damage. So, it is in Boerne. I'd appreciate your input on
where to tow it to.

My boss Craig O. just drove his new Charger to work you helped him
with. NICE! He's grinning ear to ear.

Jason"

It's probably something to do with the computer on it. Those things are sealed pretty well, but submerging them is never a good idea. He's also going to want to drain the tranny and tcase. He might have to let it sit for a few days before it will start again.
