Stock it came with an asin ax-5 tranny, np-231J T-case, front axle D-30 rear axle D-35

He was talking a NV3500. Put New Venture Transmissions in google and you will find all the info you need.

So the NV3500 is just another name for the t350? Cause I've also found stuff referring to a t355.

You have to excuse me. I'm new to transmissions. Give me an engine and ill go all day. So is the new venture a good tranny? Or is there a better one to use? I'm not getting crazy with my jeep or anything just your typical off road stuff

I'm in need of a transmission rebuild as well. I've got a 1999 Jeep TJ 4.0l with an AX-15 transmission. Does anyone know approximately how much it cost to get this transmission rebuilt?

Levans. In my area I've only found one person who would even touch it. Cost is between 500 and 1200. Depending in what it needed. 1200 for a complete rebuild
