i think I stole a Jeep!

I just sold my 94 YJ (100% stock) for $4500, and bought a 97 Sahara with a 3 inch suspension lift, New BF 32 x 11.50 tires, alloy wheels, edge performance kit (programer, large throttle body, cold air intake, and TB spacer) Banks header performance exhaust etc.... (I keep finding other rupgrades!) the jeep has never been off road, and doesnt have one scratch, chip or dent. the only problems are the miles (190,000, and it has a slight rear main leak) for........$4300!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did I steal this??

For 4300, I'd think so. Even if the motor needs work, it won't need much at all. Congrats.

Good looking Jeep, but I'd check the springs, maybe it's the pic, or maybe they are old and saggy, but that doesn't look like 3" of lift if those are 32" tires...

Oh and I am completely jealous of the deal you got.... wish I could fall into one of those

It's a '97 with almost 200K on the engine; not that great of a deal. Right in line with Kelly Blue Book.

It seems like a fair deal. You did well, but didn't rip the guy off or anything...

Looks like it's in decent shape despite the mileage. At the very least you got a pretty good deal.

Now you want to talk about a STEAL... a week after I bought my '97 Sport my dad decided he had to have a Jeep, too. He found a '97 Sahara (stock w/ 130k and factory hard top) for $2000. The only problem it had was a bit of rust on the fenders. We've put a budget boost and 32" tires on it and he rattlecanned the fenders. He's got maybe $2600 in it total.

As long as you're happy with the amount you paid for it, then it's a good deal.

Location has alot to do with it too. Some areas of Pa think they can be tied to the barrel of oil prices, others the gold price. NJ on the other hand prices them like used cars.
