So I've had my jeep for a while. But I haven't done much with it. I wasn't really excited about the offroad prospects when I bought it. I just liked the look and always wanted one.
Anyway, I've never used the 4wd... I drive it to work and around town. I'm really comfortable with the stickshift now (I had never really driven one much before I got the jeep and was a little apprehensive about doing anything with it earlier... but now I'm really comfortable in it and love it more than driving an automatic).
But I don't know where to take it or anything. It's just a standard 2010 JK sport. No mods really. New half doors, mirrors, and a safari top and that's about it (note I am NOT a car savy person or work on cars or anything but even just doing all that myself was fun and made me a bit more ambitious as far as spicing it up. Just right now I don't have a lot of reason to do much since I haven't used it really to begin with to justitfy much more than I have. Anyway, I live in South Central California and don't really know anyone who does any of that kind of off road stuff so I thought I'd come here and see if anyone has some suggestions for me where I could take it and learn to have some fun it (I really do love just driving it around but now I'm getting antsy and just wanna get it dirty. Before I was like... I don't wanna ruin it or mess it up or get it dirty. Now I really want to take the carpet out, wear the tires out and have an excuse to buy new wheels and stuff).
Thanks if you can help (and I'm not picky of location really. I'll make a weekend trip out of it, it'd be fun).
