Pharmaceutical Advertising Agency Copywriter

I write promotional materials and in-office items for pharmaceutical companies- anything from office literature to magazine ads, to sales aids, flip charts, etc.

Pretty much the stuff you see in the doctor's office when you're there.

Senior Airside Operations Supervisor at ATL. In my current role, I oversee the Cargo Operations (international freighters, you know, B747-400F's etc, sometimes an AN-124) I do other fun stuff too that you guys would find boring, like hauling ass down one of our 5 runways during inspections

I am on 24 years Fire Captain/PM hoping to retire with 30 but I want to be a RR engineer when I grow up. I am serious. I know its probably not possible but I think you have the next best thing as a conductor. Passenger or freight? How did you get involved

Commercial real estate banking with a too-big-to-fail bank. Basically legal side of stuff-reviewing title, land surveys, negotiating documents, environmental issues, partnership and other assorted "bs how to bury your identity and liability" agreements, leases. Translation: I play with paper, receive way too many emails, and sit in a chair all day.

I know the job, I'm the airport manager at KHUT. No cargo, but plenty of Gulfstream and Challengers visit us. Not to mention the military traffic and yes, I know quit a a bit about the hi speed "runway safety" checks...

cool! Not many people know what goes on at the airport. "Oh, you are the guy with the sticks that brings the plane in?" or "You work in the control tower?"

Funny. I'm an Air Traffic Controller. I work tower and when I tell most folks what I do they say "your the guy with the sticks right?" lol, if they only knew.

Freight. Just got fed up one day, and I was vested in the pension so I started applying. Had an interview a week after I applied, and 6 weeks later I was in conductor school. Wanted to put in 30 on the railroad so I could get the max from that retirement. Was 38 when I started, so at 68 (if I make it that long), I can retire. It'll be nice getting two pensions. I had to get out of fire/EMS before my knees and back got really messed up. Have permanent nerve damage in both hands from a disc problem in my neck. Pinky, ring, and middle fingers are about 75% numb all the time.

Next November I'll put in to be an engineer. We have to have at least 3 years as a conductor to promote to engineer. I have the time now but I'm not going to screw up my summer with the kids by being out of town twice for 4 weeks for class. Its a pretty fun job. Boring as heck some of the time, but very low stress.

Own and operate a custom architectural door company. We focus in handcrafted (really, everything goes from a pile of lumber to a beautiful work of art in our little shop) wood and wood and wrought iron doors. Mostly residential, but some commercial comes our way. Been at it for almost 13 years.

That's cool, that's what I do except our doors aren't as nice mainly bifolds and sliders.
