Hi Cavediver, my business was called Seahorse Charters out of Pompano Beach. Hurricane Wilma destroyed the resort I was at for 15 years and when you loose your commercial spot here you are done. I guess I'm done. LOL! Slate's is a great place, I've used them many times in the past. Good to speak to you, take care!

I'm in High School (Class of 2012!!!) and I work training police dogs, service dogs, and all kinds of dogs (mostly big breeds, malinois, and shepherds).

But, when I graduate, I want to go to the Fire Academy and be a Firefighter. I'm still also tossing around going into the Army Fire Corps... so who really knows at this point

I dont know how it is in Florida but get your paramedic license. It is soooo hard to get hired without it. I am 22 and I was accepted into the fire academy when i was only 20 and finished two days after my 21st birthday. All because I started my EMT-B training when I was a senior in high school then worked for EMT-P in college. Good luck man.

Thanks for the advice! i am planning on doing the Army thing after HS, they put you through your firefighter I and II and EMT-B certifications. Then I'm gunna work on a Fire Science degree and my Paramedic license. Having your FF-II, EMT-B, Paramedic License, a Degree, and Military Experience with the Fire Corps gives you a good chance of getting a job down here. This is the only way to go to get the job here, there's a big rise in the interest now.

Thanks again

No problem..yeah everyone wants to be a firefighter since 9/11. Which is good I guess, just make it a little more competitive. You should be more than qualified with all that training, plus you'll have good experience in the Army. Good luck man!

Hi. I'm, uh, I'm a pet psychiatrist. I sell couch insurance. Mm-hmm, and I -- and I test-market positive thinking. I lead a weekend men's group; we specialize in ritual killings.

Attorney. Co-attorneys think I'm crazy for forgoing a some sort of luxury trinket and instead going for a wrangler. I don't get it, but I can say they're incredibly boring.
