I am a "wire drawer" -make wire for most medical procedures. Translation-my company makes .500 wire .0005. and any size in between. It is than sold to medical device companies to make anything that is medical wire. Pacemaker leads, stents for the heart, catheters, braces for teeth, rods for the back, screws for the bones, the list goes on and on. One thing I can say since this was started as a "what's a good job" thread. Company is still growing, increased personal by about 15% this past year. Has never had a lay off and still works 7days a week some depts. (is optional) Med supply field is strong and worldwide.
