Quite a few years ago I was a qualified diesel fuel injection mechanic, for the last 30 years I've been a software developer. Work for large multinational doing java and adobe flex development.

I am a office mananger for about 14 cry babies that call themselves subcontractors. We do property preservation for the banks on foreclosed properties. I been in this business for about 10 yrs and oh it is crazy!!!

I'm a mechanical engineer at Xtek. We primarily make power transmission equipment for the steel industry. LARGE gears, driveshafts, u-joints are what I work on. Just to give you an idea of the scale. An average gear is about 36" in diameter, and a u-joint yoke can be around 46" across.

I am going to school for mechanical engineering. Getting my degree in physics with a mech. Eng. Concentration fiirst, then doing to grad school for engineering. Im also minoring in math and drivetrain design is what I want to get into. Very interesting stuff.
