I have seven years until I retire. Then I will haul in lots of reefer.

I am an Active Duty National Guardsmen and part time student working toward a degree in business. 5 years till retirement then I get to figure out what I will do when I grow up.

Just Kidding...I'll never grow up

Its an International flat front School bus style with coach seating. I also drive the 24 passenger econoline van front buses, and we just got some international 24 passenger buses with the truck front ends. I work for Dattco out of New Britain CT. I used to drive the same style buses at the college I went to. The only difference is the amount of paperwork and I actually get to take them on longer trips now.

I hope the ones at your store area smarter then the ones around here.

Don't ask them anything the computer can't answer... you will sit on hold for 20 mins just to be told "uh I don't know how to figure that out".

The question was about thread size on there slide hammer,(rent-a-tool).

Ah yeah btw thank your maintenance guys every chance you get those things are a PITA to work on. Their engines aren't really accessible at all. Oh and dumping the "blue juice" is a s***y job (literally) oh yeah and I wrecked a bus almost exactly like this when I was 12.... Whoops.

That's really bad, I'm in Oregon so I'm on the west coast lol.

The sad part on that one was all they had to do was walk to the bolt ben at the end of the counter find a nut that fits and tell me the size...

Ah well I just make sure I know what I want before I go.. prices are usually pretty good, so like it or not I still go.

I am a chemical plant operator for ANGUS Chemical (owned by Dow). Our main product is Nitromethane (Top Fuel fuel). There is only one other plant in the world producing NM, and it is in China (they cannot produce the quality or purity we do). Love my job, cuz there is lotsa off-time for wheelin'!

Exactly. I had to give him a jump one day ( he drives a dodge shadow, it's three different colors has a fake ram air intake and only 2 of the 4 doors work.) so I hand him the cables to put on his vehicle and he started to put them on the wrong terminals. He said he was gonna go get a new battery at work and three weeks later it wouldnt start. He had never bought a new battery

I prefer the title Code Monkey. I'm a Programmer/Developer for a Payroll Service.

Basically, I get to figure stuff out all day.

I'd worked in kitchens and a wearhouse for 10 years before falling into my dream job. 5 foot, hundred pounder working in a warehouse... smart move, huh? It took about 7 years to realize what I wanted to do and another 3 working towards it. I haven't 'worked' a day since! Good Luck with your job search!

On a side note, being a single male homeowner I've also become a part time landscaper, handyman, noob carpenter, and home decorator. Being a Jeep owner I've become a suedo... mechanic(?) for my Jeep (meaning I have installed my own after market bumpers, winch, speakers, flares and built a pallet to haul stuff while protecting my amp, but had to pay to get my lift installed). I've always felt like a Jack-of-all-Trades kinda person.

Well paid my dues, started out as a wrench, became a master tech, moved on to automotive service/body management. Bought my Grand Pap's farm when he passed away. Best investment I ever made. Owning the mineral rights, and having coal and natural gas contracts let me retire at 50. Now I have the time and money to play again.
