The radiant heating company i was working at suffered a major down turn. Had a bunch of major jobs cancel and a few issues getting paid so I was laid off so time for a change. Just finished my second day working for an alarm/security company doing access systems and cameras. Small shop me and the owner right now gonna ride it until I'm ready to move to PA this May and start hunting for a job out there. My girlfriend has a job with GE trans so we're relocating out there.

My wife is always asking me this. I don't really have a good answer for her. I guess you could say Medicare Strategery.

I work part-time in acoustics. I mainly do environmental noise control. To keep it short I take sound measurements with either Rion NL-31s, B&K 2250s or Larson Davis 831 sound level meters, stick the data into a computer then graph it in Excel. I get to be outside a lot, sometimes late at night. Not too stressful of a job. Wish I had more hours though.

I build magnetic pickups, and occasionally run CNC machines for a company that produces magnetic sensors that are used on anything and everything. Ranging from flow measurement units for oil companies, to the International Space Station.
