When I was stationed at MCAS Beaufort, SC my wife was a DoD Dental Assistant at MCRD Parris Island.
Thank you for your service with your husband. I am a firm believer in the saying that the toughest job in the military is that of the militiary spouse. I still don't know how my wife put up with it for over 20 years.
I've been out of the loop for a few weeks so I just seen this. I thank you and your wife for your service as well!! As an army wife I've learned, and learned it quick; that you have to put on a thick layer and your big girl pants!! I love my job even on the bad days, I wouldn't have it any other way!! I hope I can tough it out 20 years!!
Ok. Forgive me, but didn't you work for the government before? And, now you for the government still? I used to work for the government (9 yrs USAF) and now in county government as a probation officer.
I know. Picky, picky. Just another long day ended. Thank you for your public service to keep me safe.

I am a FedEx courier of 14 years. I deliver lots of the parts and accessories to the jeep/off road enthusiasts in my area. I'm like Santa AND the grinch. Lol! I seldom get to deliver the cool stuff to myself. Sad, huh?
