I know! I just noticed over the years being a Wrangler fan, that I never saw a minority ever driving a Wrangler. Mostly just white males...few femals but still white. I was curious as to why Wranglers are not a SUV of choice among people of color and especailly people of Asian background.

4, maybe 5...

Jeeps as a vehicle are under-equipped and have ridiculously poor handling by modern standards, and are WAY overpriced for their size and comfort range. They are built for and marketed to a very specific group of people, and the attributes in that group of people are predominately caucasian male attributes.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone get discriminated against after the pavement ends though... We blatantly discriminate against "pavement people", but if you're willing to brave the beyond, then in my experience, you're part of the group

Well obviously he thinks asian women are beautiful, you in particular, and that's all that matters.

I was the "first" Asian girl for all my boyfriends. They never dated anything but white girls until me. I shouldn't be surprised, I grew up in Minnesota and now live in Wisconsin...lol.

adds 4, maybe 5.

I gotta slightly abnormal scale though... only one point for looks, one if you own a gun, two for a fishing pole, 3 for a boat...

That is an interesting rating scale. But hey, you like what you like. I personally believe, looks will get you there but personality will keep you there. Looks fade. And you can't have a conversation with just looks.

I don't own a gun (got a Jeep instead). But I will be getting my concealed carry permit this year. Then buying a gun (have to save up for it and do research as to what kind of gun I want. And go to the shooting range to practice. Never fired a weapon before).

I fish like a girl and don't own a pole. I will fish but I won't touch the fish or the bait. And I won't clean it but I will cook it for you!

I don't own a boat, but I know how to drive one. Friends have boats so I don't need one.

I own tools...does that count? I have a power drill and a full tool box full of tools. And I installed my side arm on my Jeep myself. Remodeled a bathroom, installed a bathroom sink. I really want a nail gun!

I roll my own cigarettes...lol. I'm too cheap to pay for the prepacked ones. LOL.

Did my cool points go down or up?

lol, that's like 30 something I think. "really want a nail gun" probably gets the high score

I lived on a boat for a year, and rolled cigarettes because a) they take up a lot less room, and b) it's easier to keep a can of tobacco dry than a pack of marlboros. drop your can of drum over the side and it's no biggie, but a pack is toast.

There is a local Asian family who own nothing but Jeeps. Grandma can be seen in a Freedom Edition JK from several years back. Then there is the silver, RHD JKU they drive too. I "think" they have at least one other one. They are awesome peeps! They have two restaurants, and they make some of THE best breakfast around.

You would think I would have a gun by now. My ex-husband is a cop. But he never took me shooting. Let me hold his service piece a few times. All my male co-workers all have offered to take me out shooting but I just never found the time.

Rolling your own cigarettes is so easy and cheap. When it cost you only $1.20 for a pack...it's a no brainer. I think in almost 5 years I have maybe spend only $1100 on cigarettes.

If you can, find someone who has an AR15. They are fun! Well, the M16 I had was fun anyway. Her name was Vixen! Pretty much anything we had access to while on the range was fun! It always felt like I should have been paying the US Government for all of the fun we had during our Weapons Quals instead of the other way around.

If you go for a pistol, I found that not all hand grips suited me. My brother has a SIG and a Glock. I prefered the way his SIG fit my hand.

So funny story to share...to show how FAR I have come in the world of cars.

I got my first car when I was 18. 1983 Buick Shyhawk for $500. I get her home and my male roommate helps me by looking her over. Discovers the blinker on the driver side isn't working.

Me: How do i fix that?
MR: Pop the hood and let me take a look. (pop the hood) Ah, here is the problem. You are out of blinker fluid.
Me: where do i get blinker fluid?
MR: Big Wheel Rossi, tell them the year, make and model of your car and they should be able to show you the correct fluid for your car.
Me: ok.

Few weeks later, I'm heading to party and I get pulled over, my first time getting pulled over. I'm scare. I was raised to have a very healthy respect to police officers.

Cop: do you know why I pulled you over
Me: no sir.
Cop: your blinker is broken
Me: (nervous and talking super fast) I know, I just got this car a few weeks ago. I haven't had time to get blinker fluid. I work and go to school full time and I just haven't had the time to take care of it.
Cop: what?
Me: (blank stare at the cop..talking slower) I...I haven't had the time to get to the store to pick up the blinker fluid. I'm super sorry.
Cop: (staring at me) who told you about blinker fluid?
Me: my roommate. he looked under the hood and discovered that i was out.
Cop: (silent)
Me: (about to pee myself because I am thinking I'm going to jail)
Cop: (after a long while and what looks like he is trying to hold his temper) There is no such thing as blinker fluid. You need a new bulb. Just get it fixed.

1) was super happy i wasn't going to jail
2) was 50 shades of red from believing my dick of a roommate
3) the cop wasn't mad, he was trying to not laugh at my face once he discovered i was serious and not pulling his leg

So I have come a LONG way baby.
