I have noticed something interesting...how come almost all Wrangler owners are caucasian males? I do see an increase in female Wrangler ownership but once again mostly caucasian.
I would be interested to find out what the racial and gender breakdown of Wrangler ownership is.
I myself is an Asian female and I have NEVER seen another Asian person (let alone an Asian female) drive a Wrangler.
dont take anything i say as offensive that being said
atleast in my area offroading is more of a "redneck hick" thing most people who purchase wranglers have intention of off roading mabe the 4 doors will catch on but 2door wranglers as we know isnt exacly big on space its not something i would ever buy to use stricly as a daily get around truck with no intention of ever leaving pavement.
I think most shade tree mechanics and rednecks are white guys, and thats the type of guy that buys a vehicle that gets modified from the day its bought till the day you finaly die, broke, happy and upside down in your crawler
Maybe I'm just weird. I have never owned anything but American cars. Wranglers has been a favorite car of mine since I was 16. I tend to like muscle cars, the beefy, rugged mans man car.

I would love to own a Dodge Challenger (with a HEMI), right along with my Wrangler (I be super happy if my Wrangler has a HEMI in her too). OMG, that be heaven!
My wife is big into functional style, so she loves the look of Wranglers, the old Land Rovers, and the old FJs in general, but words like "Hemi" don't resonate. American muscle cars are generally a "no go." I'd say that's fairly representative of the women in her family of about the same age . . . more or less.

Just a V8 with some hemispherical cylinder heads that Chrysler decided to call a "hemi," right?
Most gear heads I've met seem to think there are many better V8 engines for jeep purposes made by other manufacturers.
BUT, my understanding is hemi swaps are popular in part on account of computer compatibility. Putting in a Chevy V8 is going to be substantially more difficult.
Of course, I could have that all bollixed, so I'll leave it for Jimbo to correct. I will say though that a V8 in a wrangler would be cool in my book. :thumb:
I am in the same boat as MTH and PLUKE My asian wife rides in the jeep next to me she does like it. I am just trying to get her to trade in her SUV for the JKUR.
Haven't really noticed anything else in terms of ethnicity, though now that you mention it, I don't think I've ever seen a black guy driving one. I think most people that buy Wranglers intend to off-road, and I guess that hobby would probably be considered one that white males participate in most.
Personally, when I get my Wrangler, I probably won't off-road much. I don't have a huge desire to. I'm just buying mine because I've loved them since I was little and watched MacGyver.
I can see where you're coming from, there are a lot of them who aren't attractive. Maybe guys like them because they're typically petite, and exotic.. Who knows exactly lol
Mike, I'm not saying there isn't non-submissive Asian women out there. I for one are one of them. I'm kind of in your face, tell it like it is kind of girl. Nothing about me is "stereotypical" of an Asian women. Maybe it is because I'm only 3/4 Asian and 1/4 white, maybe because I am adopted and was raised by white parents, maybe it is because I'm in WI (which doesn't have a big Asian population), maybe it's because I'm a freak of nature...who knows. But most Asian women are quiet, petite, happy being a susie homemaker and taking care of her man in whatever he asks.
