If you have a winch...

Okay so I have been looking and looking and trying to find a wireless winch remote for my new smittybilt xrc10. I found this one but I'm not sure how this would install onto any winch, do y'all have any ideas? It looks like bare wires, not something tht plugs into my solenoid. Does tht mean I'll have to open up my solenoid and do the wiring? Let me know if what you think. Thnks guys!!!

I wired in a in cab controller for my winch, got it from the 12voltguy.com. Don't know if this is something you might consider.

i guess it could be convenient to have either in-cab or wireless. I just havent seen the need. when/if i get stuck, im usually out within 5 or 6 minutes so i would rather spend the money on mechanical mods than luxury. i would like to see if this works out for you tho, may be a mod down the road for me. good luck

Good idea! But no I'd like to have it in my hands when hooking up the cable.

One wire to each solenoid, a ground, a hot and the one looks like an antenna to me... I have been looking at these myself the last couple days. When you are ready to buy one look to amazon.com. they are cheaper than the link you posted and have free shipping too.
