I'm a newb and I need help!!!

Hey guys I just had a few small questions about my 07 rubicon. 1) every time I press in the clutch is squeaks (there are no problems when shifting or anything like that but the squeaking gets annoying). 2) I have a stock gear shifter and the little plate that has the shifting diagram is really loose and has turned upside down but it has not broken or anything. I would really appreciate any help. Thanks!

The squeaking could be the throw out bearing. Lots of miles my guess, not so many miles maybe the linkage at the peddle a little spray oil or silicone.

As JokerCheif mentioned, it could be the throw out bearing.

My 05 starting doing the same thing. I dropped the trans and pulled out a chewed up throw out bearing. I'm still trying to put the money pit back together...
