I'm checking on a 93yj

The word 'Jeep' that's stamped in front of the door on the body, if it's the same color as the body, is that a sign that probably the whole Jeep body has been repainted?
The person has it listed as:

1993 Jeep Wrangler
New 2.5 4 cylinder motor
New front bucket sets
New black soft top
2 inch lift
31 x 10.50 R 15 LT tires
Set of LT 235/75 R 15 comes with it
New frame from 95 jeep wrangler - no rust
He wants 6800.00.

What do you think? Here's 3 pics...

Thanks for looking.

$6800 for a '93 seems a little high, my wife's was in about the same shape when we got it, and hers only cost us $3000. Looks like a great YJ though

^^^you stole yours then.

Door panels have been messed with, seats and console are not stock, Id be looking at the body since the frame was swapped out....9 out of 10 times if the frame is rusty, the body is too

DL19, does the new motor & frame add value?

Ibuild, he says they're new seats & I had the same console/arm rest in my 95yj. I'll make sure I pay attention to the body for rust.
What do you see on the door panels that's different?

Thanks guys.

They are spraybombed which makes me wonder what else is questionable.

The motor and frame would definitely add value, I can vouch for the center console too, I've seen em in YJ's before. It looks like a solid Jeep, just make sure you test everything. Try every gear, and make it sure goes into 4h and 4l and all that good stuff.

Just that someone spray painted the door panels black when they should be grey, and it doesn't look like a very good job. If someone would do that, I have to question their judgment on other things. The center console is definately not a stock one, not a big deal...just not OEM.

$6800 for that jeep is a bit high j/s. no four cylinder wrangler is worth that much imo
