In need of some helpful susgestions

Hey guys
So here it goes, ive owned my jeep for about 9 months, i have a 2011 jeep Wrangler soft top. When i purchased my jeep i had a few friends and family ask me if i was ever worried about people breaking into my jeep since its a soft to, well naive me i was never concerned considering i would not break into another persons vehicle.

Well in the last month my soft to has been broken into twice . In two different locations within the Kitchener/Waterloo area in Ontario Canada.

Lucky for me these people didn't get anything worth value however it does piss me off. After the first time when they got nothing i took virtually everything out of my jeep, the second time they managed to steal my gas log (big whoop), Cheap tire gauge (also no big loss), and a pack of smokes that had 3 left in it.

ive spoken to some non jeep owning friends and family who have suggested either replacing my soft top for a hard top, moving, or getting an alarm system was hoping that someone on here may have a suggestion of what to do.

Get a big dog and post him near the jeep.

Hardtop or softtop if they want it they will get it. I had a problem with my TJ. I got a proximity alarm in stalled. It only made nose nothing fancy but it is enough to detour people. Again even with an alarm if they want it they will get it. I also I stalled the Tuffy under seat security box. I never had anything stolen out of it again.
