$800?

Lightning's gonna strike those thieving morons.

You should have no problem doing it yourself. Mount the lights on the windshield mounts, run the wiring under your cowl and into the engine bay, hook up to battery. Then run the switch wire through your firewall and into the cab.

There are numerous routes through the firewall. The easiest two, for your purposes, will be the ones on either side of the dash (gonna go with driver's side for this description). Remove the side panel on your dash – the part facing the door when the door's open. Easiest way to do this is to remove your a/c-heat vent, then push the panel out. You'll see a foam-filled hole about the size of a quarter leading into the engine bay. To get your switch through from the engine bay, remove the rubber plug from your firewall, tape switch wires to a straightened-out coathanger, and fish em through.

Bada-bing! You got lights.

I always put some conduit around my wires before I zip-tie em to the other wires in the engine bay. Looks better, and protects the wires from heat and abrasion.

No problem. If I'm around I'll help you.

You'll get a lot more input from folks who know far more about electronics than I do if you start a post on this in the JK Jeep section.

I use an sPOD for all my aux electricals...basically, it makes hookup easy for voltage retards like me.
