interesting pricing info on 2007 Wranglers

Found this on the net today,

thought I'd share with those that haven't come across it yet. Prices are set to go down and options increased to standard over 2006 model

New Standard features include 3.8-liter V-6 engine, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Electronic Roll Mitigation (ERM), four-wheel-disc anti-lock braking system and hundreds of door and top configurations

My question is, How will the ERM and ESP affect putting a lift or other mods on these jeeps? Will the aftermarket stuff have to be engineered to deal with these features? Will modifying these wranglers void the warranties on the vehicle?
It seems that as vehicles become increasingly more electronically complicated it makes them harder to modify. See the post on putting a v8 in a TJ. If you change the PCM the gauges no longer work...ect.

yep they keep makin them more complicated like changing them from leaf springs to coil springs which makes it harder and it takes longer to lift...oh well though, im FINE with coil springs

Now hold on did i really read that right the 07 wrangler unlimited is going to have a 2WD option what hell is that. its not a minivan all wranglers must come in 4wd.

The 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited X is equipped with a 3.8-liter V-6 engine coupled with a six-speed manual transmission. The MSRP for Jeep Wrangler Unlimited X two-wheel-drive model is $20,410 (including $660 destination) and $22,410 (including $660 destination) for the four-wheel drive-model.
