Hey guys, i found a 2001 LS1 4.8L engine that comes with the wiring harness and computer for $600. Ive read these things can make up to 350 hp. should i jump on this? or am i completely stupid and have no clue what i am talking about?

How many miles are on this engine? These engines can make a lot of power BUT WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO WITH IT? I assume you want to put it in your jeep, but do you know what is involved in that kind of swap?

Take care,

I would consider putting it in the jeep, but i know it would take a LOT of money to change everything out. so i may buy and sell it for a profit it its worth it.

Yeah, I don't have the patience to personally do an engine swap. Lol
Too much time and money for me.
