Yes that's bad! Hope that your valves are still good... And take it to a professional to have a new belt put on and re-timed

Turns out all is well, just changing out the water pump, timing belt, all the goodies. No damage other than belt, thankfully it snapped at idle.

Unfortunately it snapped about 20 miles out in Pisgah National Forest riding forest roads, with no cell signal, and no one around for miles. After a nice hike to signal, gotta roll-back there about 5 hours later.

Ahh ok. How do you like it so far? I love the 2.4L it's peppy enough for me and it gets pretty good gas milage. Do you have a lift., bigger tires?

Here's mine. Based on your profile pic I wasn't the only one who thought the old school golden eagle decals would look cool!

Didn't even notice this post, my bad. But yes I have a 2.5" Old Man Emu suspension, shock and springs, old man emu steering stabilizer, 33x12.5 BF Goodrich AT K/O Baja Champions, and a few little customizations here and there. And that motor surprises me constantly. Its pulled trees, cars, mostly hondas haha, and a few big fords out of some sketchy situations in the snow. Does yours also have the 6 speed, is it the NSG370?

I did until the synchros for fourth gear went.... I swaped in the NV 1500 5 speed. I really wasn't a huge fan of the 6 speed anyway. Mine is stock height 30 9.50 15. And of course a few mods here and there!
