Is this the way you do it too? (top down video)

Just shot this.

The top was more agreeable today than most times.

Just wonder if is a common way to fold things up?

Seems to be ok but I have trouble at the end when you have to fold in the door flaps ....> <....

looks like you did a pretty good job. you put way more effort into folding it properly than most people i see though. so what is your concealed carry piece?

Yeah, i don't spend near that much time folding it, and I don't jerk on the back bow when releasing the back flap. Also i don't climb up on the jeep any when doing any of it either, but other than that, seems to be pretty much it.

you took about 2min8sec longer to do that than i ever have. i guess i always just kinda let it fall/fold down on itself and then clean it up from there. mine seems to fall into place pretty well.

Don't you mean not so concealed carry piece? Here were I am in Ohio cops would be all over anyones ass saying that wasn't concealed enough.

Wow I'm retarded... I wondered why it sat so high when I folded it down. I never tucked the rear flaps on the inside. It makes much more sense now, lol.

thats not the way ur supposed to do it with the rear flaps but i guess if it works haha
yeah it takes me 30 seconds to get mine off, i only do the rear flaps that connect into the door surrounds, so that saves time too haha

i just pop off the back things give it a yank and then slowly guide it in, it will fall the right way, you dont have to worry about keeping it flat and stuff like u did, but tis not a bad thing to do it that way

I unclip the windshield clips, unclip the plastic pieces above the doors and fold it down just like that. Takes about 2 minutes.
I dont bother unclipping the rear stuff or folding it neatly or removing the rear window

Does the canvas get stiffer over time?

Aside from needing to be stitched on the passenger side like I had to do to the driver's, the canvas seems to not want to fold like cloth but rather like cardboard.

Is there a product that will soften it?

not sure if it gets stiffer over time. in fact, i would think the opposite would happen. but the temperature outside really helps. folding a warm top after it's had some sun on it is a breeze.

It's almost like it's dry.
