Jack Stands and Floor Jack

Looking to pick up some jack stands and a floor jack to do tire rotations on my JKU.

I'm looking at picking up 6 ton jack stands and a 3 ton floor jack from Harbor Freight. I have a 1.5" lift and 33"s tires, are those overkill for tire rotations?

Or can I go down in size and save a few bucks?

Thanks!

I have the exact same setup in my shop. You could go down in capacity, but why. It is cheap insurance. I always go for the highest capacity that I can afford. I use them to support everything from my riding lawnmower to my Quad Cab Ram tow rig. I have the 3 ton model and a 1.5 ton aluminum one and 3 sets of stands. You can never have enough safety when you are under a vehicle.

I have four 3 ton jack stands, four 6 ton and two 12 ton. I only use the 3 ton when I'm working on a car and I don't feel like jacking up the car to where I can fit the 6 ton underneath.
