Unhappy Jeep and Driver gone missing

Durham man goes missing in yellow Jeep :: WRAL.com

Sad story. Makes me want to rent a Jeep and go down all the trails around here.

Sad indeed. Especially since he didn't have any immediate family left. Seemed like a nice guy from the looks of it.

Very sad.... I hope he didn't get stuck wheeling and in a dead service area. That's happened to me before... Not
Fun when you don't have food for 3 days, can't imagine 9

Carry a PLB (personal locator beacon) if your wheeling with only one vehicle. Especially on long remote trails. If I'm wheeling in an area I can't walk out of, I pull mine out of my backpack and toss it in the jeep.

Says he was on his way to a grocery store so I doubt its an offroad situation. Foul play would not be ruled out I don't think.
