It's not the kind of discrimination you think. Anyways, here's what has happened: My wife and I officially switched cars back in July--now she drives my Acura exclusively and I drive the JK exclusively. It was her idea mainly because she didn't realize it's more difficult between getting in a Wrangler with high heels on than getting in Liberty.
Now, with me, I've gotten my share of tickets over the years of driving my Acura. My wife, on the other hand has never even gotten so much as a parking ticket her entire life. Since driving my JK exclusively no cop on the road has given me a second look even when I speed. But with my wife, she's a little over two months into driving the Acura and she's already been pulled over. She called me all shaken up like the world was coming to an end when all that happened was she went through a light that had just turned from yellow to red.
She said after the cop pulled her over and saw who was driving the car he didn't even bother to ask for I.D. or registration. He just told her to slow down and have a nice day. With the windows being tinted and riding on low profile tires I'm sure the cop thought she was some dude just hot-dogging around until she let the window down and felt embarrassed about pulling her over. Anybody else experience any Jeep discrimination like this?
