Jeep Discrimination

It's not the kind of discrimination you think. Anyways, here's what has happened: My wife and I officially switched cars back in July--now she drives my Acura exclusively and I drive the JK exclusively. It was her idea mainly because she didn't realize it's more difficult between getting in a Wrangler with high heels on than getting in Liberty.

Now, with me, I've gotten my share of tickets over the years of driving my Acura. My wife, on the other hand has never even gotten so much as a parking ticket her entire life. Since driving my JK exclusively no cop on the road has given me a second look even when I speed. But with my wife, she's a little over two months into driving the Acura and she's already been pulled over. She called me all shaken up like the world was coming to an end when all that happened was she went through a light that had just turned from yellow to red.

She said after the cop pulled her over and saw who was driving the car he didn't even bother to ask for I.D. or registration. He just told her to slow down and have a nice day. With the windows being tinted and riding on low profile tires I'm sure the cop thought she was some dude just hot-dogging around until she let the window down and felt embarrassed about pulling her over. Anybody else experience any Jeep discrimination like this?

Yes and no. Yes becasue I have been discrimated against but to my benefit. IUt wasnt a Jeep. It was a Honda Goldwing motorcycle. For those that don't know this is a 6 cylinder cruiser motorcycle that van easily do upwards of 135mph, but becasue demographically it is for older people police do not give it a second look. Case in point. Me and two buddeis were out riding one day. Two of us on Goldwings and one on his CBR 1000. We were all going in excess of 100mph. We passed a State Trooper that was in the cut. We all slowed down naturally but once the trooper came up he only pulled over our buddy on the CBR and we kept riding a few more miles till we could pull over and wait. Once my buddy got the ticket he came up and said he was riding the same speed as we were (damn snitch! LOL) but the Trooper said B.S..... you weren't with those guys!! LOL The funny thing is we are all 30 something years old! Discrimination!! Jeeps are the same way. People are so used to them beoing slow and more offroady, but I usually cruise at 80 on the highway...which is legally considered reckless driving in VA. Never had any problems.
