Nice work! Those look great. I made the mistake of showing them to my wife and now she wants one. Are you sure you don't want to start making them?? LOL

I actually just printed out a picture of the lights and used Modge-podge (Mod Podge Craft Brand by Plaid Enterprises) to attach/cover it. I am sure someone could put real lights on

Since it looks like quite a few people are interested I believe I will create a set of plans... it might help me pay for my Jeep mods . It will take me little bit to draw them up but if anyone is really interested send me a PM. I heard 19.95 earlier on... Sounds good to me.

I am not much of a wood worker but I have a friend that could probably pull this off for me. Approx how long do you estimate this taking for an experienced carpenter? Also has anyone bought the plans and have a review as to their readibility/quality/pictures? I am a visual guy thanks.

That's so cool. Lol. Screw a race car bed. JK bed is so much more awesome.

Should do a JKU for the adults.

The last one I built took me about 40 hrs..... but I was going back to the first one I made to get measurements and rethink through the steps to build it. Not that I have it all drawn out I would anticipate 20-30 hrs. That includes time driving around town to get the parts all the way to finishing with paint. If somebody does this for a living they could probably dramatically cut the build time down. I too am visual and for that reason the instructions are 62 pages long and full of illustrations. See the attached pic which is a page from the plans. let me know if you have any more questions. - John

The plans are for a twin bed... Made it a breeze getting our youngest to transition from his crib...

I finally put the plans on Etsy.com so you can download immediately upon payment. Here is the path:
