Jeep Gladiator / Truck 2012

Some rumors are floating around that we'll see a Jeep Truck called the Gladiator in 2012. Looks cool!

Article with concept drawing

This one has a picture of it
REPORT: Jeep Pickup Truck Coming For 2012

Any other information out there on this?

Clearly a small, solid front axle, 4x4 truck would dominate the market as it would have no competition.

The picture is of the Gladiator concept vehicle from a few years back. It may - or may not - be what the new truck will look like.

There were no pictures at the event where Jeep chief Mike Manley evidently showed it. Supposedly the "front is all Jeep."

I believe that is slated as the Dakota replacement Geoff. The pick up might be the other one that was at Moab that Bestop made the custom top for, kind of like the old J10 truck.

That was the NuKizer, and there's no way they're coming out with a convertible pickup. Too bad, 'cuz that thing kicked all sorts of ass.

Thanks for the article. It'll be a good read tomorrow at work. If it does make it to the public it will be interesting to see the options and load / towing capacities.

Anyway. Here's to them hopefully going through with it.
