Jeep Hardtop durability???

I am considering purchasing a wrangler 4 door hardtop. Being in florida, I am concerned about the durability in the strong Florida sun. Most vehicles that down here when they have the balck plastic on bumpers etc, after some time, that black bumper oxidizes in the sun and becomes gray. I am trying to find out if anyone that has had a Jeep hardtopm, how well that top holds up over the years.

Thanks

I don't think they have been around long enough to see how they hold up. As for the white/gray fender flares, a heat gun brings the black back.

The four doors have only been out since the 2007 model year. With that said, they "should" still be made the same as the old tops. IE-fiberglass and paint. Might want to check an older 97-2006 Wrangler hard top out, and a new one, and see if the tops seem to be the same material. Than all you gotta do is keep an eye out for some older black ones, and see how they are holding up!
