Jeep hunting..please help

Hello everyone, iam going to be new to the jeep club,, need some information please ,, looking for a jeep for are river house pulling are boat in and out of the water and a little off-roading not to much but a little,,
whats better a 4 are 6 chylinder.

looking at a 1998 jeep wrangler 4x4 with 91 k...4 cylinder with BF goodrich tires is that a good deal are good jeep $6,000

also looking at a 1999 jeep wrangler 4x4 sport 6 cylinder 150 k for 6,000

just like to know how these jeeps are,, i really dont want to spend over $6,400,, any help will be great.. thanks

Like the others have said a 6 is the better choice. Although the 6 has 150k you should be fine. Just look everything over real well. The jeeps aren't really made for towing a lot but the 6 will do the job easier than the 4. Mpg difference isn't worth the power difference in the motors.

Get the six: Jeeps can tow small stuff. Towing isn't the issue, stopping is.

You must be vewy, vewy quiet......... and neek up on them. Especially the I6's.... they are skittish beasts, but well worth the effort....

Get the six. Don't waste your time on the four. Just remember the max towing is only 1500 or 2000 lbs I think. The six should last you well over 200,000 miles if you take care of it.
