Yesterday on my way home from work, my jeep (95 2.5 5 speed) gave me some trouble. It seemed I could not raise the rpm above 2k or so. Normal highway driving has me going 55-60 in 5th gear. But last nigh I couldn't get the rpm high enough to shift out of 4th. Normally in 4th going 55, my rpm would go over 3. Last night it stayed low. When I got off the interstate and sat at a light, my idle was lower than regular. To get into gear to go, I had to floor the pedal in neutral, and instead of rpm shooting up, it slowly climbed up from less than 1k, took about 10 seconds to get high enough to put into gear. Managed to make it home barely. This morning the thing won't make it 10 feet without stalling out, I can't get the rpm high enough. Any thoughts?
