It looks more like a car than a wrangler renegade. I like it, but I just don't know how capable it would be. I kind of looks like a spyder version of the compass.

Those look like some pretty big tires, but it does need more lift. It looks like its made for going across dunes at speed and such.

I think so, wouldn't they be showing 2009 concepts now.

Give me a removable hard top, windows in the doors, and a plastic body colored "silder" to close up the hole in the door when its raining or nasty, and I would take one in a heart beat. Heck, you could even make the door windows an eco friendly plastic or something, make them crank instead of power, and have some sort of outside mechanism (that locks from the inside for parking) to remove the windows in case of an accident (which is why plexi windows are illegal on the street, in case emergancy services needs to break the glass to get you out).

A trunk/hood storage space would be nice, but I wouldn't gripe too much about it, and with the hard top I am sure they can work in some sort of storage somewhere. They could even market it to compete with the Chevy Volt, and capitalize on the 4x4 and diesel engine vs the chevys 2wd gasoline.
