Question Jeep tire size question

i just bought a '04 wrangler with 35" by 13 1/2" tires, its got a 4" lift and the heavy duty axels, he also has already re-done the gear ratios to compensate for the large tires. just before i bought it it had a bad u joint i had him fix before i bought it, my question is are 35's too big for a jeep? and can i expect more problems coming of this?

All depends on what you do with it.

I run 35x12.5's on D30 / Super 35 and have had no problems.

it helps to know what axles you got..

my gf runs 35s on the stock d30/35.. she doesnt do anything hardcore.. she actually bought it like that.. her next set will be 33s

mine.. i run 33s on the same axle combo.. but i got a d44 on the way because i know i like to ride my jeep a little rough =p
