Jeep Wave ??

Need a Jeep Wave Etiquette judgement.....A guy in a new JK waved at me today. Seen as how I am driving a Legandary 2006 LJ, I can see why he waved at me! But on the comeback do I really need to wave to a guy in a JK? Or should I just flatter him, maybe make his day so he can impress his wife in the passenger seat into thinking he really is a "Jeep Guy"

I wave to every JK I see especially if they wave to me. I think they deserve to be apart of the jeep fam just as much as us TJ/LJ owners do. Even though they usually don't wave back at me..

If it says "Jeep" on it I'll wave. I don't discriminate.

Pretty sure theres already a "Wave" thread and the whole JK crowd not waving has been beat to a pulp a thousand times over.

Meant as a joke directed at my buddy that sold his built 1998 TJ. I helped him and infact did most of the work. He sold it to buy his wife a JK so she can drive the kids around.

So dead horse whatever, if you have read every thread about the WAVE why did you open this one????

I wave at as many as I catch.

I wave at all Wranglers and XJs. Nice idea for a thread though - being an asshole to people you don't know and who can't immediately punch you is a daring and original concept. Well done.

When YJ Wranglers came out the CJ guys had these same types of discussions. I've driven a odd fire V-6 military 1950s Jeep in a snowstorm with no top or doors (up hill both ways in my bare feet.... You get the idea) but I have always waved to all M series, CJ, YJ, TJ, JK, Jeeps. I have a JKU now and I'll keep waving.

Wow....4 days ago I purchased a 2012 JK having wanted a Wrangler since I was a teenager. I'm in heaven....but I'm not a "Jeep guy". I owned a non-running 1967 Kaiser CJ5 for 4 years. Does that make me cool and a member of the club? Stupidest thing I have ever heard.

I have people wave to me often. But they usually just wave one certain finger at me.

I always wave to any Wrangler. Even trophy wives and soccer moms in their 2014 JKUs. Even if they don't wave back, it's the principle of the matter. You, as a jeeper, have a duty to wave to any and all Wranglers regardless of driver

I seen a guy topless with a comb over. His hair was waving goodbye!
