Jeep Wrangler Front Bench seat?

Has anyone ever tried putting a front bench seat in a jeep wrangler? If so, how? By yourself? A shop did for you? What was the cost? Worth it? I'm a huge fan of front bench seats, the extra foot room, the easy arm rest, the occasional perfect spot for your girl, but I've never seen a place that does it yet alone seen a jeep wrangler with one. I'm in Texas by the way, would this be something I have to do as a project or do they sell these somewhere? I've never seen one for sale, only rear seats. Any advice is appreciated!

I can't imagine it would be that hard to do... The hard part would be finding one that fits... I'd say take some measurements...go to your local U-Pull it yard and compare the width of the tub to any bench seat you can find , then if you find one. Then you can worry about mounts and such

Come to think of it, I don't believe I have seen a bench seat in a modern car lately. You may have to use a back seat. If it is a high end car you get one out of I am sure you can find one that is split and reclines. Good idea. Let us know how it goes.
