An Oldie for sure!

Four Jills in a Jeep(1944)

Four Jills in a Jeep (1944) - IMDb

I rented this from Blockbuster Online solely because it had "Jeep" in the name.

I was actually quite smitten with the picture by the ending credits. While there was not much action with the Jeep, there was some. And boy did he wheel that thing! Mud, river, etc. All with four pretty ladies dressed in fur and fancy garb exclaiming about this or that the entire way.

Thought of this forum the other week when I watched the movie, but pulled the image from another site.

I see them quite often in a lot of movies in the background. Drive my wife nuts sometimes because I go, "JEEP!" during the shows/movies.

There was one in the Jason Stathom movie where they drive around dragging a vault through town. Made quite a few appearances but was never part of the action.

How'bout CB4 with Chris Rock?

And don't forget the cartoon from the 80s, "M.A.S.K.!"

In the new Avengers movie there is a scene that has a jeep and hummer facing off. Kinda pist that the jeep ended getting stuck. Good scene though.

"Pump Up the Volume" with Christian Slater had one, and so did "The Goonies," though it wasn't a Wrangler...

GM sponsored the film, why do you think the Hummer won?

Look at all the Autobots...all GM.

Felt the same way too. The Jeep looked to be a Call of Duty pkg with the AEV hood. Awesome movie too!

Since this thread was linked from http://www.wranglerforum.com/f33/jee...ls-170715.html I figure I'd post my contribution in the "official" place. If anyone watches "Guy's Big Bite" on Food Network, you may notice after commercial breaks in the newer episodes where he cooks IN his house (not in the backyard and not on the old Food Network set) in the background when he is outside talking "separate" from the episode itself you can see what looks like a blurred JKU with no top on in the background.

Speaking of This Means War, I was originally ok being forced to sit through this lame excuse for a movie when my gf Redboxed the Blu-ray. You'd think the movie was more of a comedy for both sexes, but it is ultimately a beefcake chick flick. But since I made the gf sit through repeated viewings of the Evil Dead series, I figured I owed it to her to endure her choice. But then the car chase involving the Jeep occurred, and that was it. I had to walk out of the room. I could not suspend my disbelief enough to tolerate it. Any Wrangler would have been rolled had it been put through those maneuvers, but this YJ--thanks to some great editing--handled like some Italian sports car.
