K C Xtreme Machines of Greensboro, NC Review

I will be the first one to start a thread and give Kudos to a job well done for a vendor/shop that has done me right, but the alternative is true as well.

First - Not the most friendliest of folk when you come in. But I don't care so much about that, but you don't feel to welcomed, but more of an annoyance.

Second - They did put the lift on the my jeep and they seemed to have done a good job on that.

Third - They installed the windshield lights. Last night I popped the hood to see how I was going to wire my winch, because it is coming in today. OMG, the hack job wiring they did for the lights is incredible. Wires everywhere, and they tie wrapped the fuse and connector to the handle of the battery, WTH? And I paid $65 labor for that?

Fourth - They put on my flat fender flares as well. The backs are ok, but the fit on the fronts left a lot to be desired. I had to take them off and re-seat them. The rubber molding wasn't even touching the fender. Moreover, I had to call them to see if the jeep was done because they never tried calling me. Plus, they went out of the way telling me how hard it was for them to install.

I can't get my money back, but I can also let them know I reviewed them on the Jeep forums that I am a member of. Bottom line, if you want it done right, do it yourself. Plus, there is a new place in High Point that is now going to get my business.

Thanks for the heads up! I'm outside of Winston-Salem, and I HIGHLY recommend JMedic
(They were called Jeep Medic, but Chrysler *asked* them to change it). Randy the owner is a down to earth guy who gives good advice and does quality work.
