Can someone recommend to me a good brand of kayak roof racks for a Wrangler? Thanks!

Hey JImbo, was it cheap as in "inexpensive" or the opposite?
My daughter just delivered 2 Kayaks to the warehouse and asked me if I would get them up to La Porte after the snow!

Morning Kevin, yea mine was cheap, because it was the prototype for MBRP's "NEW" JK rack and that was Dec. of '08

I ordered it before they had started producing them, so it was about $XXX (can't tell ya) bucks, but

I'm afraid that to get one now, just the basic would be at least $1000 +shipping, it's a real quality piece of equip., but

You'll have to talk to Steve and find out--log on to mbrpinc.com and checkitout

Good luck

Try here too. Rhino-Rack are new in the US and do a rack and separate kayak attachment. It's quality stuff and costs around $200 for the kayak attachment. I saw a load of them down at a kayak race near Sydney, Australia over the weekend. They looked really good.

Good luck!
