keep an eye on things.

Coming out of Hy-Vee tonite I noticed a YJ had parked close to our vehicle. As I walked by(course I was eye balling it)I saw the hood latches were laying on the fender.Told my wife if you ever take the jeep anywheres make damn sure the hood latches are secured.A friend of mine bought a beautiful old cj that had been rebuilt in WIT auto school. The neighbor kids had unlatched the hood and yep he creased the hood, broke the windshield and dented the windshield frame when he met a semi going down the highway. Not to mention his surprise when the hood blocked his sight at 60 mph.I don't care for anyone touching Timex,so I gave the YJ owner the same respect.Hopefully he or she has no surprises on the way home.

Shoulda left him a note, to draw his attention to it... Most of us (at least me.. ) don't look at such things before we mash the gas.... Hopefully he did notice.

good for you Baja, hope someone would do the same for me.

Makes the factory hood lock look cheap when you consider the damage a flying hood could cause when some nit wit unlatches the hood springs.

What kind of winch do you have? Mine can't be turned on unless the remote is plugged in. Or do you mean they mess with your in/out switch?
