Keeping Phone Charger Plugged In All The Time?

I have a Jeep 2010 JKU. Would keeping the phone charger pluggerd into the cigarette lighter (without the phone attached) drain the battery or weaken it over time if left in 24/7?

Also, what battery would I need?

Leave it in the switched outlet, and you won't have to worry about it. The switched outlet goes off when the ignition is switched off.

It's the one on the left, by the driver. I think in some jeeps it is the cigarette lighter.

I'm embarrassed I did not know that LOL. Thanks for help! I tried telling my son "I think that thing is getting juice from the battery all the time" LOL.

My 2012 doesnt have the lighter like the 2010. Theres something in the console. I need to see if thats off the ignition or not (not that I run anything on it anyway). The '12 has the power outlet to the right of the dash but no cigarette lighter to the left. Its power mirror control.

On the 2012, the outlet under the heater control is supposed to be switched and the outlet in the center console runs directly off the battery. I found the 2012 owner's manual by doing an internet search and this was on page 162.
