You need to check out the latest issue of J Rations. They have an excellent write-up on it. I've been thinkon' 'bout it too, and J Rations has convinced me.

I got my led tail lights at car quest for $55
and my led licence plate light was $15 at auto zone
and my back up lights were $15 at walmart
there way brighter than stock and I like the clean look.
I get a lot of comments on the lights especially the licence plate light.
there easy to install if you've done trailer wiring then you wont have a problems. here's a good right up
http://www.stu-offroad.com/electrical/led1/led-1.htm

and a few pics of mine
quality isn't very good there from my cell phone
and if you want to see what it looks like all together let me know I'll take another pic

there are lots of stores where to buy Jeep tail lights. lights upgrade really depends on what you want and how much money you want to spend on it. ebay is also a good place to search for parts.

Sorry the focus sux.

They are the 6 LED bulb version and you can pick em up at places like Harbor Freight, Tractor Supply, Auto parts stores, etc... I got both mine for $25.00.

If/when they go out, I'll probably go with versions that have more LED's in them.

Hooking em up was easy. I followed the LED taillight writeup from www.stu-offroad.com.

I use the American Super Lite 15 LED version. They are better appearance wise over all the others I searched out before I bought them. You can still see the lights from 90 degrees which is not something you can say about all flat paneled LED lights.

I have matching turn signals up front and in the hood.

Nope. I did the mod to the relay. It is still faster than stock but it doesn't repeat really fast.
