leaf springs

i did a spring over on my 93 yj, it still has stock leaf springs and now they are flat and starting to bow the wrong way, im looking to replace them but dont want springs to lift it to high becuase my drive shafts(not really wanting to put a slip yoke in), would 2 1/2 inch BDS leafs give me a good stance or would i need a slip yoke? what other spings would be sutiable for this project? what do yall think?
