Leaking :/

So my pinion seal is leaking, first, is there anything cheap I can do to help or fix it? And second, if not, how hard is it to replace the seal?

Front or rear....and which axle?

Installing a new one is simple

but you will need a torque wrench to set the pinion nut.

Well they never get better, I sometimes wish they would fixing things gets old at times. Effect....loose your diff fluid...will not lubricate the gears correctly causing them to wear and get messed up over time.

To better help you can you give us a little info on your jeep please...there are differnent models and different front axle options for different jeeps. So...

Make, model year? and is it a Rubicon?

Nope...the pinion seal is the seal that seals the Pinion on the axle...where the driveshaft connects to the axle.

Where is your steering box leaking from? The steering shaft input or at the pitman arm?

Yep, a lot easier to just swap the box out then redo the seals in it.
