Let's see your little helpers!

My sons have LOVED working on the jeep since I got it a few weeks ago! they keep asking if we can wash the jeep or if I need to "change the fusernator" (their own made up term).

It's been a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to years of funneling money into the jeep (but really into spending time with the boys!)

One helps on the big jeep, one works on the "little" jeep.

My three year old (almost 4) likes to check it out and sit on the Jeep, but isn't big right now on helping me do stuff to it. Although, she has told me she wants a pink Jeep.

However, she does love to go for rides with me. And yes, she is a Daddy's girl and she and I both know it.

Nothing wrong with a daddy's girl! I've got an up and coming daddy's girl - she's 16 months, but the force is strong with this one.

My dad always said that a kid's willingness to help is inversely proportional to their ability to produce. I was always willing to help him spill the paint or break dishes

Mine get mad if they aren't allowed to be big girl helpers. (they named themselves). I have never heard of a kid getting mad because they can't vacuum and do the dishes. If I go out to work on the jeep or to just stare at it, the oldest is right there besides me. I'm still working on corrupting the youngest.

I was working on my jeep and so my 3 year old had to as well. She said that when she is older she will drive it. I asked her what her first mod will be and her reply was " I will paint it pink"

That is just pure awesomeness!!!

I posted above my daughter doesn't really come out and help with stuff, but I should clarify when she's in the mood she actually will come and "help" me work on stuff. It's usually just a couple of minutes and she's off to the next thing.

She's an ace at fixing the vacuum cleaner though. She's always on the floor huffing and puffing while I'm aggravated and fixing it. I guess she's already figuring out you need to get a little hacked off when working with machines...it makes the machine work better.

5 months and she already want's to drive! And my 2.5 yr old was under the rig "helping" me bleed the brakes.

Why is it of all the tools strewn about they allways take the one you need at that particular moment!

This is my little Jeepin' girl a few years ago. She wanted to drive, but could not reach the pedals. She had to sit on my lap while driving around the campground!

Fast forward a few years and now she is a mouthy teenager going to driver's ed. I'm hoping she still has the Jeep bug, but lately most the pictures I have of her and the Jeep, she is asleep. lol

My daughter also loves my Jeep. She also loves to "help" and insists on helping with chores (except cleaning her room oddly ).

My oldest, nearly 9, wants to take the Jeep everywhere... partly because she sometimes gets to sit up front, but also because of THIS:

The baby, who's going on 2, has recently taken saying 'Beep' whenever he wants to ride in the Jeep .

He loves to stare out the top while we're cruisin' along:

A little blurry because she was moving, but she's helping me wipe down the dusty inside. I had just put the doors back on.

And I'm teaching her well. She's getting the Jeep wave down.
