Lift 2012 JK

Hey guys,

I'm thinking on putting a 2" lift on my 2012 JK Sport. Wanted to know if anyone had any advice on brand of lift, application, or anything else that may be needed to do this. Please and thanks!

I'm by no means an expert but I just installed a 2.5" Rock Krawler Flex kit in my 2012 JK Sahara. I'm extremely happy with it. Everything is going to depend on what you want to use it for. Are you going with bigger tires?

Some other items you may consider depending on your kit:
- Front and rear Bump stops
- Spring Clips
- Exhaust Spacers

If you have a 2 door model and only want to go 2 inches, you might want to think about putting 4 door springs on your rig. Look for part numbers: 52126319AB and 68004460AA, I put those on and it lifted me 2.25 inches in the front and 2 inches in the rear. My 33's don't rub and could possibly fit 35's with a fender flare trim. It does not require any other mods to your suspension and I found my set of springs on craigslist for $40.

Yes those are the MOPAR #'s, the higher the last two digits are the stiffer the springs are. The numbers I listed are the heaviest duty stock springs you can get...like I said I am very happy with mine, the ride remained the same, just had to adjust my steering wheel center but nothing else. I am planning on putting some 3 inch cups on top of that, I expect to have to change out other parts that are related, but for now I have great clearance on my 33's. I was rubbing pretty bad when I flexed on my old springs.

After much research, I actually found a local shop ad struck a deal to the 4" rugged country lift installed with alignment for 950$
Shocks, springs, and track bar brackets.
