lift advice?

So i just got a 2.5 97 wrangler it currently has 31x10.50s and no lift. I want to put maybe a 2.5" suspension lift on it. I'm not looking to go hit every mud hole I can find but maybe a few here and there. Seeing as I'm a jobless highschool student "jeep funds" are on the really low side. Whats a good, inexpensive lift?

Cheapest lift you can do is a coil spacer lift. You can find used 1.75" or 2" spacers all over the place for about $50. That's what I did, and it works fine for me.

welcome to the forum

I dont know about inexpensive but I know that Rancho has a promo going on to where they give you a $500 rebate if you buy something or other from them. Not sure the details tho sorry. try these websites teraflex.biz northridge4x4 and quadratec.com hope this helps.

Budget boost. you can replace shocks, and add spacers for around 200.00. I believe you can just add the spacers, and keep OEM shocks, but I wouldn't advise it. you risk ripping the shock in half.

Remember to set the Toe after you get it lifted...or you'll be buying tires much sooner than expected, and may have significant drive-ability issues.
