lift help,bump stops

i added 2'' bump stop extensions and now there hitting the coil spring,do i really need them?2005 lj .,putting on a 4'' lift.thanks for any help.i don't have the tires on yet,but it still looks like it will hit,also i was look at rough country lift installation on you tube and did not see the put any extensions on.any help thankful.

well,no help.that's ok.the answer is they will hit until you let the jackdown and put a load on them.

Is the 4" installed ? Axle centered ?

Should not hit if setup correctly.

yes, you need bumpstop extensions with any lift that uses longer than stock shocks. they should not hit the spring at all, if they are properly installed. you need to check full bump with the springs & jounce bumpers removed to verify extension length is correct.
