Does anyone know why it would take so freekin LONG for the "ticking" to go away when I start my rig? it is at the top of my engine... I think it could be a lifter... I added an oil treatment to it and thought it might go away but................nah... I only have 50k on an 06 unlimited...

Collapsed or dying lifter? I had mine out under warranty around 50k, if memory serves. >65k later, all is well.
