look what my winch can do!!

I decided to start this thread because I am waiting on my winch to come in and I thought it would be cool to hear about any unique or entertaining ways people have used their winches.

I saw a post on another forum using a Jeep mounted winch to hoist holiday decorations onto a house.

My buddy is from South Africa and he said that guys on the trail at night will rig up their 4x4's, find a big tree and winch them self's up it for the night lol

used mine for pulling tree limbs the way I wanted them to fall when I cut them
also had a 3' diameter x3' high stump left from said tree, put the ramps down on the trailer and winched the stump on

While in Alaska this summer building a house used the winch to raise all the material to the second floor.

I always thought it would be a good idea to winch up game to be skinned. Some deer and hog can get pretty heavy.

I saw a pic somewhere of a guy who winched the front of his jeep up using a tree so he could clean the mud out from under it. Can't find the pic now!
